Hey everybody,
I was just wondering what moisturizer you all use for severely dry winter skin. I've tried several, but none are really workn for me. I have combo skin. Very dry in cheek area, but kinda oily in the T-zone. (nose and forehead). Anyway, can anybody suggest some inexpensive moisturizers that work? Thanks,
Janie

I agree! Rose Day Cream from Dr. H works for me....I mix in a drop of jojoba oil as well. It feels really think at first but after a minute or so it sinks right in.

I too would go for the Dr Hauschka Rose Day Cream
Also Neal's Yard Frankensence moisturiser is very good.
Other's Avene do some good face creams and oh yes an especially good one for dry senstitive skin that is also inexpensive is Oilatum.

My absolute favorite is Rosa y Fruta's Ambrosia cream. It is rich, hydrating and nourishing. Loaded with good stuff. It does a beautiful job on my nasty winter dry skin.

I used it all last year, and just bought another jar last week and it is even better than last year. It has been "tweaked" (not that the original needed tweaking) and it is divine!

I think it retails for $150 - but if you use code amb63 - you can get it for $63.

I've tried both Dr. H Rose Cream and Rosa y Fruta Ambrosia, and they are both fabulous products and very hydrating. So I guess I just agree with everyone else!

at the moment I'm using the stone crop whip from Eminence and that seems rich enough for this winter weather.

Rose Hip Oil is very nice for moisturizing sensitive, mature skin. I love to use it around my eyes. I also like the Calming Bio-Lipid Repair cream from cellularskinrx.com. It's pretty rich and it has some good ingredients to help keep redness out of my skin when it's windy and cold.

Just wanted to thank everyone for the great suggestions on best moisturizer for dry winter skin. After reading all the replies, the winner is (drumroll please) Dr. H's Rose Day Cream! Most of you suggested that so it's gotta be good. I also like the sound of Rose y Fruta's Ambrosia Cream, sounds yummy, but not the price. Yikes! $63 and that is with the code discount?! Shock I think that settles it then, I'm gonna give the Rose Day Cream a shot. Thanks again and Happy Holidays to everyone. Smile

You won't be sorry with your decision to try Dr. H's Rose Cream. This is my absolute favorite product. It's the best moisturizer out there, in my opinion, for dry skin. The scent is wonderful, and my skin actually maintains moisture all day when I apply this in the AM, after my vit. C, and ADCE. I love trying new products, but my search for a quality, reliable moisturizer is over.

I use Cellcosmet Ultra Vital cream. If I had some money, I would want to get Cle de Peau La Creme
