Hi all

Just found this forum and was wondering if you could give me some advice.

My sister has really dark rings round her eyes (think panda eyes) and it is getting her down

Is there anything she can do to clear this up?
is isnt really a person to bother with beauty treatments etc.

Any help would be great

thanks

Has she always had dark circles or are they recent? There are many different causes of them and some are harder to get rid of than others. For example, if it seems to run in the family then it may be impossible or very difficult. However, some are caused by allergies, sinus problems, lack of sleep etc There are some eye creams she could try that target dark circles but I think it's important to investigate why she has them first.

If she is getting enough sleep then I really think she should eliminate allergies and sinus problems. Also, it may help to sleep with the head elevated more to help lymphatic draining.

I've had very good results with Peter Thomas Roth (PTR) Power K Eye Rescue. Some have also reported good results with Eye Bright.

Dark circles under the eyes with good sleep and knowing that it isn't hereditary is most likely caused from some sort of allergy. I would suggest that she see one. People are allergic to more than they believe. Dark circles under the eyes could be caused by a number of things including, but not limited to hayfever, gluten, wheat etc.

i read that some people just have naturally weak capillary walls.. which can break and leak blood leaving red/purple color.. thats why some people including dont have darkness under their whole eye area.. the inner half of mine is reddish/purple but the rest is normal.. if your dark circles are hereditary there really isnt anything u can do.

My point was at the top of the line, if it WASN'T hereditary then "blah, blah, blah."

I wanted to make sure that I covered genetics first, of course.
