is this DHCC doing its work?
the pores on my cheeks are darker and are turning into pimples rapidly, my chin is breaking out, and so is my forehead which never happens.
i've been using DHCC for about 2 weeks now. i follow it up with an aspirin mask (which i dissolve in ACV instead of water) and leave that on for ten minutes. i rinse that off and to make sure everything's off, i cleanse with cetaphil. sometimes i'll use a salycic acid cleanser if i want more acne treatment.
is this making all the dirt come to the surface? or am i just irritating my skin? it's not peeling or overly red in any areas.. nothing is bothering me except for the pimples. |

sounds like your skin is going through a purging period. Be patient, soon they will be gone. |

purging period...when your skin breaks out is normal when using Dr. H CC. Many ppl experience this. IT means the product is just bringing out the impurities to the surface from inside the pores. Be patient and in a couple weeks or so the purging process should be gone. |

I didnt experience the purging period but I did have something similar when I used an acidic product too much. I know the ACV and Asprin are acidic and you are also using another acid product. You may want to limit it to one or the other. |

i agree with olivia - are you using the asprin mask everyday? if so you might just be doing your skin a disservice.
the people that can use it everyday (like carekate) usually mix the asprin with something less acidic like yoghurt so it's not so harsh for daily use. basically the asprin is a great exfoliator but you wouldn't want to use it everyday unless you had really thick and oily skin.
i'd cut down on your use of that to maybe every few days but stil with the DHCC.
