Hi,
I read that applying egg white on your skin daily tones your skin.
I have been doing this since 2 months now.I do not see any change. Is there something wrong that I am doing?
Please help |

Hi Lifeline,
Can you explain more fully what you mean by "toned" in terms of your skin? I think I'm confused by your use of this word.
Thanks

It's my understanding that egg whites applied as a mask will give you a temporary tightening effect, but that's about it. I haven't tried it myself but it sounds like an easy and cheap mask! |

That is exactly right! Eggs whites provide the *temporary* appearance of tightening one’s pores, making the skin appear more smooth and firm or “toned,” if you will. This result is neither permanent nor cumulative. Using a facial mask made of egg whites is a lovely treat before a big night out so help your skin *appear* smoother and firmer, which thereby means that your makeup will glide on more easily, but that’s about all it will do. |
