Hi, i just received my IS pro-heal and Active serum. However, both bottles come in dropper dispensers type instead of the pump-out type shown on the website. For those of you who are using IS Clinical, which type of dispensers are yours??

I actually prefer the pump-out type bottle rather than the dropper as it is more hygienic than to keep having to open the dropper cap for every application and expose the solution. The dropper cap can't close tightly, will this expose the serum and lose the Vitaminc C effectiveness? Crying or Very sad

I just opened my IS Clinical C-serum to use tomorrow. Mine was also a dropper bottle and I am definately disappointed. I remember thinking the pump bottle is so much better. I think the effectiveness of C will be alrite since all other C-serums all use dropper bottles.

Hi Wild Cat,

I am quite disappointed with mine too. One problem with dropper bottle is that after awhile, the rubber part will tend to expand and pop out of the cap and making it difficult to close.

Like everyone else, I prefer the pump, but I think that they only package the HydraCool with the pump, although I'm not sure. I've saved them, washed them out, and use them with my all my serums now.

However, as for your concerns skinlover, I used the dropper for months when I first started using the line and I never experienced an expansion of the rubber part. I think you worries are largely unfounded. At least, I hope they are. Wink

Hi Katee, I have used other dropper types and i did experience the rubber expansion part and to some extend the bottle cannot be closed at all. Since you have not had any problem with it, i think it may be due to the weather here in Singapore, tropical country, which cause the rubber to expand?? Rolling Eyes Smile

I ordered 2 proheals (one for myself and one for son, both had droppers with defective seals and leaked. Save the black cap for traveling. Be sure not to turn them sideways, we learned the hard (and expensive) way.

(Just ran to see if I still had my old hydracool bottle for the pump, darn! Just threw it away.) That was a great idea. By the way, I had talked to the rep at IS Clinical back when I had the problem and they will be changing the dropper in the future, they are aware it is a problem. Ours had leaked out in the mail. The more people that let them know, maybe the sooner they will change it.
The email address for their rep is:

Hello skinlover,
I don't understand why skincare company won't use the pumper style more often. Is the pumper style that much more expensive than the dropper style? I wouldn't mind pay a couple of extra bucks for them to come in the pumper style. Mad

Maybe should reflect this thought with the IS Clinical people. Rolling Eyes

Hi Wild Cat and AnnieR, maybe they are slowly phasing out the dropper dispenser replacing with pump-type? the pump-type is definitely better Smile

Ya, i think Katee's idea of saving the hydra cool pump dispenser is a good suggestion. will definitely keep it for future use the next time i ordered hydra cool Wink For the time-being i think if the dropper do drops out i will use the spare black cap instead. Surprised

Yes, my husband used it the other night and tipped the bottle so some spilled out before he could catch it (that dropper is so dangerous). He laughed at me because I almost started to cry as I am mopping up the stuff to save. (So now he is banned unless I put it in his big 'ole hand myself!) Laughing
