555~ As you can see in my signature, I'm really the problem skin. This morning I use Z.Bigatti Re-Storation Skin Treatment Facial Lotion and then Clarins Multiactive day cream (I've been using as this for a couple of days), but for unknown reasons, I was all burn up this time. The cheeks looked so red while the forehead is ok.

Look at my face, pimples along my jaw line, uneven tone, dull skin and losing firmness. Actually I have taken great care of my skin since my 25, sinerely anti-aging. How come I have this right now? Each time I apply the moisturizer on the face, it looks like really hard to absorb, feeling sticky, greasy and shiny. However, it is also a little sensitive. That's why I can't use too much strong acne products. The skin always look dull and tired. I keep trying those products people have been raving about. However, few of them have made the magic on me. Sigh, so I really don't know what I REALLY need. and which line will give me a good skin??????

I am using lancome, EL, clarins ...etc. A little bit too many, right? But I am still interested in Helena Rubinstein, Sisley, Guerlain, Orlane. Any my new crazy are cellcosmet, Revive, and valmont. Will any of them could give me a change? Are they really what I need? If not, what do I need? I think I am going crazy with my skin now. I really need some suggestion or direction on how should I take care of my skin? I am really confused so far after putting so much time on it and getting worse!!!

woops, too much. Thank you for your help. Merry Christmas~~~

I add my today's morning routine here. I hope you could give me some advice, Smile PS: I do not intentionally put that 'much' stuff on just because I feel dry with only one!

Neutrogena acne foam cleanser (I like it!)
Shiseido skincare soften lotion (as a toner);
CD No age serum (for anti-aging & firming)
Dr. H moisturizing cream (it's very light, use it just as Sisley's emulsion. The only Dr. H product I am still using)
Clarins multi active day cream (add some rose floral essence to make it like a lotion. Otherwise it's too thick for me, sticky.)
Cle de peau makeup base spf20 as a sunscreen

For eye:
clinique stop sign spf15
add some kiehl's avacodo for undereye since clinique is not that moisturizing.

ok, I found out the ingredient for that lotion:
Key Ingredients: Alpha and Beta Hydroxys, Cyclic Hydroxy, Grape Seed and Green Tea Extracts, Superoxide Dismutase, Vitamins A, E, B2, B3, B9, B12

I didn't get what the 'Alpha and Beta Hydroxys' are. Are they the AHA or BHA? Acids? If so I will watch these ingredients in the future. Many thanks!

I read somewhere that alpha and beta hydroxys combined isn't as effective and is somewhat of a marketing gimmick. I can't find where now though.. but you might want to research a little bit more about hydroxys. Also remember to wear your sunscreen everyday if you use it!

Good day itisme. Yes, I think you use too many things on your face. Why not use just a gently cleanser, a BHA to open up your pores and a blemish fighter OVER your breakouts. ITs proven that this combination is the ONLY thing to clear skin. Do this faithfully for two weeks or longer if necessary to clear your skin.

Oh! I forgot to say. Paulas Choice has a very well formulated BHA and blemish fighting solution in different strengths at cosmetics cop website. Theres lots of good information on how to deal with unbalanced skin and break outs. Good luck! Smile

i agree with the above post that your using too much stuff on your face ... keep it simple is better. You should really try the Epidermx microdermabrasion cream ... it has cleared my skin, got rid of the dull look and made my skin look more even toned, firmer and refreshed. I have oily skin and it's become less oily after using this Epidermx ... i even use the Silkia camellia oil everyday as a moisturizer and this oil is so light and soaks right in giving me a nice luminous glow. Another amazing thing is the fine lines on my forehead are gone and my acne scar pitting is about half raised up.

i really think the Epidermx cream is a better all-around treatment for your skin than using just BHA ... BHA helped my blemishes and kept my skin pretty clear but it didn't do much else including helping with fine lines and acne scar pitting ... my skin still looked dull, not even toned and always had dry patches somewhere on my cheeks even though i had oily skin ... well I wasn't using Paulas Choice BHA ... maybe hers is different.

It does sound like the products you are using may be too harsh for your skin.

Have you tried the Dr Hauschka skincare products and regime: cleanse & tone only at night and cleanse, tone & moisturise during the day. Like you acne products also aggravate my skin and by following the above my skin has been really good.

Thanks guys! Thanks all your replies!!

Yes I may have put too much things on my face morning or evening. That's because, I have too much worries. Sad Also, most time I feel one moisturizer is not enough for me. PS: I did put the sunscreen spf50+ on top just forgot to mention it.

Actually I have tried using only Dr Hauschka products. I gave up after one months. Somehow, my skin became a little bit even, but, definitely even duller. Everybody could see it so I quit.

I think I can't use any acid products or exfoliate stuff. No physical exfoliate definitely.

Guys, really appreciate your suggestions and recommendations. But it just brought up my another problems: I have tried too many things. But how come so far none of them just didn't work out for me, not to mention making it even better? I am really really fed up with trying new products. Lost confidence ...

If you have much acne problem maybe you should see a dermatologist and get some prescription strength products, for example, retin-A. I swear by retinol products and vit-C serum. With long term use, they both clear up acne-prone skin well and fade post-acne marks.

If you didn't have success with Dr. H cleansing cream, you can try Jurlique Face Wash Cream. I actually prefer Jurlique over Dr. HCC.
