Dr Hauschka Rejuvenating face mask used as an overnight moisturiser for a couple of weeks will sufficiently soften any acne scarring, this is a HG for me.
Apple Cider Vinegar Toner also works well, the recipe is on this thread:

You could also try a Vitamin C Serum. |

i like apple cider vineger toner in conjunction with epidermx microdermabrasion and silkia camellia oil. They faded my red marks real fast and not only that my acne scar pitting is half gone (have been on epidermx/silkia since July). I use the apple toner and silkia oil everyday, epidermx every 3 days. |

My daughter is using Apple Cider Vinegar Toner and Aspirin Mask. She is delighted with the improvement in her skin. She is using the toner two times a day and the mask twice a week. |

I found Dr H Cleansing Cream was very good at removing redness -- might want to give it a try. I agree with the previous posters that therejuvenating mask is also fabulous. |

I too love the Dr Hauschka cleansing cream, it is also effective if you leave it on for about 3 mins like a face mask and then rinse off as normal. |

Wow! It looks like that Dr. H (rejuvenating mask and cleansing cream) and ACV are the consensus for treating red marks. I'd like to hear more testimonials but I should give this a try. Thanks. |

Try Photolagen - it has removed all red marks and discolouration I had in various places. I already use it on my face so did not have any marks there but I did have some on my arms and the back of my hands and those are now gone. |

Regular use of ACV toner and aspirin mask will reduce/eliminate the red marks after the first application. |

Or you could try using a microdermabrasion scrub then following that up with a gylcolic gel treatment (8% to 15%), and after that drys a retinol product of at least .15%. That regime should also significantly reduce any further outbreaks as well. |

I'm having a bad week...literally I have 8 red spots on my face from pimples in various stages of healing, the spots are swollen and sore. Try as I might, I can't make them invisible. I've tried concealer, foundation, etc ...you can still see them. I've been reading this forum for some time now, and was semi-familiar with the posts on the aspirin mask and aspirin toner. So, at lunch I stopped at CVS and bought a $.99 bottle of uncoated aspirin, some witch hazel, and a bottle of 100% aloe vera. I mixed 7 or 8 aspirin in a small amount of witch hazel, then used a couple of cotton balls to put the mixture all over my face. (I did this about 2 hours ago.). My skin looks remarkable..the spots are still there, but the swelling is 90% gone. My face looks like it probably would have looked in 5-6 days without doing anything. This stuff is a miracle!!! |

Far be it for me to say “I told you so,” but...I told you so!!
One thing: I know you’ll be tempted to use the aspirin mask again right away, but try to resist temptation because it could over-dry your skin – especially if you’re going to use the aspirin toner. If you absolutely MUST use it again, just spot treat the areas of your breakouts with the aspirin mask rather apply it to your entire face.
Now that we can count you among the list of “true believers,” next you need to try out the ACV toner! |

Hi micha_852
I have not had the great results from this either. I love reading the posts about people that have found their "miracle" cure or help. Keep this in mind-if you do not have an RX for your skin, maybe you should seek one out. Before I actually started on my RX I tried all the suggestions and options with nothing working. Now I get to try all the suggestions along with my RX and I get better results. Keep your chin up...keep reading. I have found so many great ideas on here...I check it often throughout the day, write down the suggestions and go home and try them. Through trial and error, you are bound to find something that works.... |

i dont think any products would completely get rid of red marks. It takes time but some products like Dr.H rejuvenating mask should help quicken the process |

it is medical shorthand/jargon for "prescription" -- in other words, you might see if a dermatologist will prescribe an oral antibiotic or topical medication to treat your skin probs. |

using an aspirin mask helps treat red marks.... and what about Mircrodermabrasions?? It's a procedure done by an aesthician and they scrape the top layer of your skin off to reveal a new layer of skin. It helps with pigmentation of the skin. I am considering doing this, however for each treatment it is quite pricey |
