i bought the facial brush from the body shop which can be used everyday and is good for exfoliating when cleansing or so it says.

I got interested in facial brush when i saw one on EDS from DDF i think but i have not bought that one yet. Anyway when i saw one at the body shop i thought why not give it a try.

It felt soft when i brushed it on back of my hand at the shop. But let me tell you to test such a brush you must try on face actually not on other parts of the body.

Because this morning when i decided to give it a try in the shower when i cleansed my face. Ouch that brush did not feeel soft at all for face. In fact it felt like i must be rubbing my face with a tooth brush or something. But when i touch the bristles against my fingers it felt soft. So obviously facial skin needs something much much much more softer.
And facial brush from the body shop is NOT soft. Ouch. Maybe my skin is sensitive kind. But this product i would rate it to be the absolutely WORST to be used FOR FACIAL skin. I thought facial towels would be abit harsh to be used on face as an exfoliator but this brush yikes tops em all in the worst category product to be used on the face. Mad

Im gona see if i can return it back tomorrow. I asked the sales assistant wont the brush be too harsh for the face and she said no it is designed for the face it is good and good for blackheads as well. Well i thought i dont have blackheads but could use it as an exfoliator. Since it is not the right product at all for my skin she better accept the return Mad .

For my rating in terms of 0 = worst and crap product and 10 excellent and best product
i give it a 0/10 Exclamation

Thanks for sharing. I'll never touch this product. By the way, I never liked The Body Shop products. I much prefer Korres Natural Products.

I returned it finally!. I went to the shop and there was a different sales assistant. She said we do not accept back returns cause it was used. But i said this is not suitable for my skin and quite harsh. So she said im sorry but i no it is abit unreasonable as even though we have testers in the shop it is unlikely you will actually try it on the face but on the arm prior to purchasing but we cannot accept the return. So i said ok fine. What bullshit when she knows it is unreasonable to try such a thing on the face prior to purchasing she still wont accept the return. So i tried another branch of it it was along the road, and there there the assistant accepted the return. And i bought the facial soft fannel instead. The assistant said the facial soft washcloth is really really really soft. I havent tried that one yet its still in the package so i will post a review of that one soon. Hopefully she is right on that one Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation

I had the facial brush years ago and I didn't like it either. Soft on hand but brutal on the face. Sad

I use EpidermX II as my daily exfoliator now.

That's awesome that you got one to accept a return, well done!

Thanks for the heads up about the facial brush. I was thinking of getting those exfoliating microfibre cloth or a facial brush.

The SA's the one thats unreasonable as she stated clearly that the tester facial brush wouldnt be used on the face cos its unhygienic, so she knows WHY you want to return it but wont let you. So Well done for getting an exchange in the other Body Shop.

i haven't try this one yet, but i do have a shiseido cleansing massage brush. I think it is helping me to reduce clog pores and get rid of dead skin.

Thanks for the review. I've seen this and it does feel soft on the hand. I also saw their exfoliating wash cloth and boy does that look very irritating for the face.
