Hi,

I always had this problem that is those big red pimples always appear on my left cheek. These days, there are two red and big pimples and 3 whiteheads on it. My left cheek always has ance or ance mark. My right cheek seldom gets this kind of trouble. I know it is very strange and I asked a lot of people, they also don't know why. I hope anyone here can give me some suggestion since I really believe in this forum. now I am using JB C&C serum and is clincal hydra-cool in the morning. I am soon changing back to pro-heal. JB C&C has great texture although it seems it doesn't do much to my skin.

I really hope sometime later I can apply blush on my cheek. Now it looks like a mission impossible. thanks

How bizarre! I have been getting whiteheads/zits on my right cheek only?! I do notice that always put the phone receiver on my right side so that maybe the cause?

Hmmm just wondering, do you sleep on your left side?

I was going to say the same thing as some of the pp. Whenever I have a flare-up on one side, I usually notice that I am sleeping on that side (and my hand tends to go under my face) and I use the phone on that side. Sometimes, I will also find myself resting my head on my hand, on that side as well.

I found that my acne radically decreased when I made a conscious effort to keep my hands away from my face.

I'm notorious for resting my face on my hand when I'm concentrating on something. I'm right handed, so I'll have my head propped up with my left hand ...

Sometimes I rest my chin on my right hand ... this is usually when reading ...

Wherever my hands touched my face ... I'd get a breakout!

Whenever I would force myself to become aware of my hands being close to my face, I was able to restrict the contact between hand and face ... and my skin was much better.

I would think that if the problem is entirely due to sleeping ... there might be some "tricks" that you could use to minimize the "damage" done during sleep.

You could slather some sort of protective "barrier" cream or gel on that side of your face. If you have your hand under your face while sleeping, hit the $ store and purchase several pair of nylon gloves [the thin ones] and wear the glove to bed ... laundering the gloves often.

I'm sure if you can figure out what it is that you're doing to cause the problem ... you can figure out a "solution" ... or at least a "work around". Laughing

Sometimes, however, merely being aware of what you might be doing to cause this can enable you to stop doing it.

Good luck!

Mary

what a coincidence here. I am always having pimple cluster on my right face! However, I did not talk over the right side or sleep over it. Can't figure out why. Worse: it have been there for over a month!!!

I've had that problem too -- because I rest my face on my left hand! It's a hard problem to beat without breaking the habit.
