Vitamin C serums --smell?

What does your vitamin C serum smell like? Mine smells kind of "wheaty". Is that because of the other ingredients?

I have Elixir C from beauty naturally.

The ingredients are: Di water, aloevera, glycerin, ascorbic acid polypeptide, L-ascorbic acid, sodium hyaluronate, orange flower extract, SepiGel 305, dimethicone, PEG-8, tocopheral/ascorbic acid, ascorbic acid palmitate/citric acid, squalene, NaPCA, EDTA-4Na.

I haven't seen some of these ingredients before, is this a bad product? I used a vitamin C serum from Sircuitskin in the sampler packet and that was citrus-smelling.
