We got into this on the JI Liquid Mineral SPF thread, but thought I'd start a new one.
Botany 101 has taken my order for samples and charged my card. You can not get through their phone line - always busy day or nite. I personally don't think that they answer it. Also, they have not replied to 3 e-mails regarding questions about products. They may have good stuff but their customer service is non-existent! I'll see if their makeup is worth being treated so poorly.
On the other hand, I ordered samples from Monave and they have fantastic CS! They even e-mailed ME to give suggestions on ordering so I COULD SPEND LESS MONEY! I thanked them and adjusted my order with a few comments about what I'm looking for in color. They emailed me AGAIN saying they would take care of it and hope that I will be happy.
Now that's what I expect from a company! Quality - just like EDS!

Alexis,
I can't wait to hear your botany 101 and monave reviews! Have you tried youngblood or aromaleigh? I'm curious about them too. I've given up on botany 101; I haven't been able to look at their website yet--it's down 24-7.
Bad customer service is my pet peeve. I hope that its worth it too. |

I ordered samples from Aromaleigh, Geografx, Botany and Monave. They are all made from the same ingredients so we'll see if there is a difference. It was fun because I got to order oodles of samples for about $10 at each site.
I've been using Jane Iredale for years. Never liked the shine of the loose minerals. Now I know it's from the bismuth. The pressed was a bit better for me but I wasn't thrilled. It's amazing to me that I never thought of doing a search to find another brand!
I'll absolutely let you know what I think. Alexis |

i got some eye color and mineral foundation from cory cosmetics. am looking forward to trying that line that is one of those without bismuth.
i wanted to use Ji and BE so badly, but the bismuth made my skin uncomfortable and itchy, changed color and i got a very very bad breakout. |
