I alternate between a vitamin B 50 and vitamin B 100 complex, mainly because I am on the pill which depleats the body of B6. Yes I have noticed a huge difference, my moods are far better, I have more energy and paired with a Zinc supplement my skin is now lovely and clear. |

Thanks Rosebud! I was debating whether to get the supplement or not. Now after hearing you said good things about it, I will definitely give it a try. I heard that the Vit. B complex is hard to be absorbed by the body so I was having doubts. Btw, how much zinc do I need? And how long did u see improvements in your skin after taking the supplements? Thanks a lot!! ![Very Happy](images/smiles/biggrin.gif) |

I would say give it at least 2 months and then you will definately notice results, I take 25 mg of Zinc a day in the winter and 15mg a day in the summer (I do suffer from IBS, so I take more as I tend not to absorb a lot from my food).
It is trial and error on what vitamins work for you, I have seen powdered vitamins available in the shops too that may be better absorbed.
Of course lifestyle and diet is also important, if you are taking supplements and lead a stressful lifestyle then you may not notice the desired effects. Healthy eating and exercise is also important. |

Thanks Rosebud for replying. Btw, do you know if taking a Vit. B complex and zinc supplements will cause any contraindication with an Omega 3 supplement? I'm taking an Omega 3 supplement now and I'm afraid that it might intefere with the other 2 supplements. Thanks! ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |

I also take fish oils and have not noticed any ill effects so I don't think the B Vits and Zinc will interfere. It might be an idea to space your vitamins out over the course of the day so you are not taking them all at once. |
