I decided this morning to experiment with using these at the same time. I applied the Sally Hansen Lip Inflation first and let it penetrate the lip while applying my make-up (about 7-10 minutes). Then I wiped it off and applied the Lip Fusion. Wow!!! Noticeably more plump than using either of these products alone. In fact, this is the most plump I've gotten from a topical product. And so far it has lasted all morning (3 hours).
Carekate, I know you use both. Have you tried them together?

Nope. In fact, I'd stopped using the Lip Inflation because I suspect the peppermint EO in it causes an allergic reaction (little cracks/blisters at the corners of my mouth), but if the result of using LF XL and LI together is as dramatic as you say, I think I'm willing to risk another blister!! I'm going to try this as soon as I get home.... |

P.S. Were you using the original LipFusion or the new XL? |

The original lip fusion.
Still unwilling (although extremely tempted) to part with $50.

Question ladies...how long are you leaving the inflation on before you wipe it off and put the lipfusion on? |

I've only done it the one time this morning, but I would guess about 10 minutes. I put the Lip Inflation on before applying my makeup in the morning. Then when I'm "done with my face", I wipe it off with a tissue and apply the Lip Fusion.
Hope that helps.

Thanks Lori! I was thinking the exact same thing. I'll report back in the morning. |

I didn’t see your reply until now, but last night I tried mixing the LI with my LF XL but wasn’t impressed with the results. When I get home, I’ll dig out my tube of orig LF and see if it works any better. I don’t know if you saw my ‘review’ of the “improved” LipFusion, but I wasn’t impressed – although a couple of others seem to love it. I’m planning to return my tube of the XL to Sephora tomorrow, so I agree you are wise not to part with your fifty bucks! |

Well, I tried the LI and XL together this morning and still had about the same fullness. Perhaps my lips just can't get any fuller without being "swollen" from injury/allergy. Oh well, at least I'm still happy with the XL. |

Mine didn't do much more than Lip Fusion used alone this morning, so perhaps yesterday was a fluke. Oh well.....since I had both I figured it was worth a shot.

lol...I think it also helps to increase the plumpness if you've recently exfoliated your lips. I tried the aquaphor/sugar scrub one night and the next day my lips were much more full with the XL. But I can't do that every day or my lips would get so raw. |
