I used the cleanser a few years ago, but I personally didn't like it because it reminded me of Noxema. It had, at that time, the same white, pearly texture that Noxema has. I never used up the bottle I had, but you may have good luck with it. Overall, I tend to like Aubrey products; not liking this one was just a personal preference for me.

hi! thanks for the reply. i'd just like to ask though, what's Noxema? do you have oily, acne-prone skin too? my aubrey cleanser (natural herbal cleanser) has a consistency like a gel. before actually buying it, i thought it was supposed to be a liquid cleanser. but it turned out to be gel. and it's very, i don't know how to say this, oily and sticky. and it doesn't really feel like it cleans my face well after washing. in fact, i feel like its making my face even oilier. did you have the same experience? there are great reviews in aubrey's site with this product though. see, i really want a natural cleanser, one that wouldn't make me breakout, and it's hard to find one nowadays. thanks! |

I love Aubrey's products! They are all natural without the expense of Dr Hauschka. I did find that their facial cleansers left my skin more 'squeaky clean' than I prefer so I usually use their oatmeal and jojoba mask/scrub as my daily cleanser and it works out well! |

what cleanser did you use? have you tried natural herbal facial cleanser for oily skin?
because i've tried it, and it does not leave my face "squeaky clean" like you said. it even leaves my face kind of oily.. |

vintage, as per the other thread/question. It doesn't feel so much like oil - by that leaving your skin oily, just applying it feels like a rich creamy texture. If you're concerned about residue I'd certainly get a couple of cotton face cloths, very handy for removing cleansers, make-up, masks etc. |

did you also try their natural herbal astringent for oily skin along with the natural herbal facial cleanser?
see, i'm just worried that it might be causing me breakouts, cause i've been using it for two weeks and i still get spots. although i'm not sure it's from the cleanser or astringent because i also do get breakouts without them.
and i wanna know if the texture of the cleanser is okay for you? because for me, it's really difficult to rinse and it feels like i'm adding more oil to my skin. ever felt that way to you?
anyway, just want to know other feedbacks from the regimen. thanks! |
