Having had so much success with my Cellex-c HP serum and Hydra B5 serum, I decided to look over the full range of their products with a view to trying a few more.
Now I thought I had seen every tip and piece of advice their was on eye creams, but the Cellex-C corporate site says:
"never apply G.L.A Eye Balm, Cellec-C Eye Contour Cream or any cream around your eyes at night as they can contribute to excessive fluid retention and puffy eyelids"
Now they do go on to say that the Eye Contour Gel can be used in the evening instead of the morning.
Darren, what do you recommend with your PSF products in term of day/night use? What is your opinion on that statement?
Who knows if it is true, but if I was someone who had bags/puffy eyes I would be do a bit of a test!! |

tiger_tim,
Good question! I really think that it's a matter of personal preference. Some people with sinus troubles, allergies, and/or excess lymphatic fluid in the sinus/eye areas can have their puffiness exaggerated by using a rich eye cream at night. Whereas some people with excessively dry skin around the eye area can benefit from the application of an eye cream at night. I really believe it's a matter of personal preference based on each person's physiology.
I personally use the StimuColl in the morning, and then use the Phyto-Lift Eye Gel at night because I have bad allergies & sinus troubles & I tend to get puffy. However, there are times when I am feeling extra dry, or after a peel & I want that extra emollience at night.
I hope I answered your question - I just don't think it's a cut & dry answer for everyone.

I need to use hydrating eye cream both morning and night as my skin is so dry. As long as I apply it correctly it seems to work fine for me - and I suffer from sinus problems and allergies too.
I think Darren's right about everyone being different in this respect. Probably a question of trial and error to find the right products for each person also. |

Yes, see, that is how I always figured it. I was just surpized by the way the cellex-c corporate site made a blanket statement like that. I had never seen that anywhere before...
I have been having no problem with the Kinerase cream morning and night (+ Decleor firming serum under at night). |

i think that's a strange statement, as many eye creams are to be applied at night. I'm interested in what other people think about this. |

I have to say that I agree with the statements by Cellex C as I would certainly wake up with puffy eyes if I used a cream at night. There are also many creams that cause my eyes to become puffy during the day if they are too rich. I tend to prefer well made gels (good ingredients) as they provide enough moisture anyway. |
