This set comes with an AC Power adapter rated for 110 to 120 volts. Different Voltages in some countries will need a converter. The adapter outputs 12V DC power. Please note that the Baby Quasar Blue Anti-Acne Light uses an adapter that outputs 24V DC. If you own both of these units please be aware that the power adapters are not interchangeable.

I noticed that only 12 of the bulbs are light up on my BabyQuasar. Is it broken?
No, it isn't broken. The glass bulbs you see are light emitting diodes (LED's) The Baby Q has 24 diodes, 12 red and 12 infrared. The light that you see is from the red diodes. You cannot see the infrared light without a special camera. Don't worry, they are working.

Can I Undergo Acne Treatment With Retin-A or Accutane While Using Light Therapy?
Yes, Light Therapy actually has a calming effect on the skin and will not react with these Acne Treatments.
How is the Treatment Administered?
A trained skin care specialist will follow a step-by-step treatment technique with specific lights covering the skin areas to be treated.
You will experience a feeling of relaxation, light warmth, skin stimulation, and well being. A series of four to six treatments is scheduled to obtain maximum results. These treatments will be approximately one week apart. Please read on for answers regarding maintenance treatments.
What is the Length of Time For The Treatment?
The treatment itself takes about 30 minutes for the professional series Quasars, and 1 hour for the consumer series Quasar.

Usage
Light Treatments with the Baby Quasar are recommended to be used 2 to 3 times per week for approximately 24 to 36 minutes each treatment. Over use of this device may result in dryness of skin. Results may vary based on skin type and skin damage. Allow 48 hours in between treatments, to optimize the skin’s regenerative cycle. The result is a decrease in appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, and age spots. The skin will feel smoother and firmer and look younger.
Your Baby Quasar has three settings tot optimize your results. The indicator light ontop of your Baby Quasar signals which mode you are in.
Note: only 12 red LED lights are visible to the eye and you will see them in an oval pattern. The other 12 are infrared lights which cannot be seen with the naked eye. They are working LEDs. All lights visible and non-visible are essential to a successful treatment.
